Camping at Pawtuckaway....part 1

On Labor Day Monday we headed out to one of our favorite camping places....beautiful Pawtuckaway State Park! When we moved here...we use to laugh when folks told us we went to Pawtuckaway to camp but we just live it there...we launch our kayak and canoe right from our site! The circle our site is on ad the kids spend hours riding bikes and scooters around it....we visit our best camping buddies -the Winslow family who have a beautiful beach right on their site. The kiddos love playing in the sand and love spending time together there! We had an interesting week with visits for the littles, stomach flu and a trip the et for a possible broken arm but despite all that....we had a grand time of it!

Happy Birthday Kiara!

Kiara turned 7 years old today! What a joy she is! She got to pick dinner tonight--her favorite home made chicken noodle soup, muffins and of course cake and ice cream....it was great fun!

Update

We were so excited to see everyone we forgot to take pictures to put on our blog! Everyone arrived with their luggage...a nice change since Michaela's luggage never did catch up with her and actually arrived at home on Tuesday! Lots of pictures, stories to tell around dinner out at Gordo's....yum!

Today we ventured to Burger King to catch up with Brandon and Kiara's birth dad and sister....

Kayaking

Today when the 3 littles headed out to their visit...mom headed out kayaking with Brandon, Michael and Kiara! We were off to the lake that is across the street and through the woods only to find the boat launch closed as they were working on it:( so after some thinking time by mom we decided to head to the Massabesic Lake to finish our adventure. We unloaded the boats and headed out where we actually ate lunch in the boats. We had great fun and came home just in time to meet the kiddos.
