Trail Ride

We had a busy weekend here but Jess was home and offered to take some of the kiddos out with the horses on the trail.

With 2 sick and one with their allergies kicking up....it was easy to decide who was going.

She loved all the progress she has seen with the kids working in the natural horsemanship program....bravo to horses and rider alike!

Details --Adoption

IWe've been working on travel details to get our boys.  Lots of papers flying through our hands as well as emails back and forth between China, our agency and home.

Looks like the Lowman team will fly out on the 8th of October with a hopeful return of the 24th.  The actual "gotcha day" is the 12....a special day in our family as it is my moms birthday ....exciting!

We are making plans daily....lots of excitement here!

TA

We have travel approval this morning for these 2 boys!  Details to come....

This Little Book

I have had this little book for years....and have loved its truths for our children.

I have just rediscovered it when our home school moms group settled in it for our yearly Bible study. It has been so refreshing and eye opening to pray these scriptures for my children and see God's work in their lives and record it in my prayer journal.  I am seeing God answer prayers and am praising him for it.

Sweet mornings raising my children up in prayer.

Milford Fire Tower

One of our summer goals was to hike 5 fire towers so that we could get the Tower patch issued by the state of NH for anyone who hikes to the top of 5 fire towers.  This was our first of the summer even though it is September (better late than never) and was a relatively easy climb.  Darrell's sister and mom were along with us too.

The views were amazing!

So we're our climbers...

A fun day....4 more to go!
