SNOW

We had our first real snow today...there is excitement in the air with people and critters alike! Although the white stuff isn't falling right now the radar shows a bit more on the way!

Gingerbread Houses and Boys and girls

Yesterday we made our Annual Gingerbread House for the Season! The biggest challenge?? Keeping the littles from eating the candy or sucking on it and trying to use it on our house! It still was a lot of fun!

Today we made gingerbread boys and girls! Very creative ...take a look!

Kiara's First Tea

Putting on a sparkly dress and getting all dressed up to go to a tea to raise money for friends who are going to Haiti. Kiara and mom went out on Friday night for tea and yummy snacks and sandwiches. The little girls had a table all their own with pint size tea cups...it was sweet to see them all around the table smiling, drinking tea, and having fun together.

Some family Christmas fun!

All was clear and bright last night as we celebrated an early Christmas with Aunt Suzy and Oma. A fun dinner, presents round the tree, family together chatting and sharing until then WAR BROKE OUT! Oma, Devon, Jason and Mom ran for cover and let them at it! They had a great time but eventually it got late and all of our little soldiers were getting tired and went off to bed after their battle! Sleep tight...

Tea party

Kiara and Mom had some time for a tea party and Harmony joined them when she got home. Fun girl stuff!

Jess and Jasmine and Lessons

Jess started riding at a new barn which is always a challenge! This instructor is really challenging her and Jasmine...they both came home exhausted.

Planetarium

We are spending our afternoon at the Planetarium where Jason, Michael, Brandon and Kiara are taking classes and Mom and the 3 littles are hanging out playing on the exhibits. It is chilly and dreary outside so we are glad to be inside.

Chilly Day at Horseback Riding

As we sit in the warm up room this morning, we are very excited for the electric heater in the warm up room. The kids have welcomed the warmth as they take turns riding. It makes for a much more enjoyable day homeschooling:)!

Have you heard?

A bi storm is heading up the coast and we here in NH have had all kinds of normal but wacky predictions. Well that means it is time for jelly making at our house to save all the berries in the freezer--one year we lost too many blueberries to count due to loss of electricity. So it is time to start jamming them--yummmmmmm! We eat lots of jam and its also fun to share it too...happy canning:)

Fall Ride

Jess was a brave girl last Monday and took the oldest 5 for a bike ride. She loaded all the bikes in her truck and rode into town to put everyone on their bikes and had them ride to Dunkin Donuts with the intent of getting a treat....after many mishaps with a chain that wouldn't stay on....mom came to the rescue with another bike and a dozen donuts-yum! Everyone was super excited about their adventure! Thanks Jess!

Prairie party

A fall kick off party happened on a beautiful farm in Loudon,Nh. Costumes, fellowship, prairie games, and beautiful sunshine! What a beautiful day!

Santa's Village

Last Saturday we made the trip to Jefferson to visit Santa's Village with the kiddos. Darrell and I won 2 tickets from the radio for our anniversary which set the ball on motion! We had a great day together and finished it all off by going out to dinner at Grandma's Kithen with homemade bread...yum! All the kids slept the whole way home and some didn't wake up until the next morning!! We ended the day with a double rainbow!

Happy Birthday Michael

Michael celebrated 11 great years yesterday! We celebrated last night over fruit cup, Canadian bacon, French toast and the usual cake and ice cream. It was all yummy! Check out Michael's hamburger cake!

Pawtuckaway --part 2

Some of the other things we enjoyed from our week at Pawtuckaway were a hike on the Fundy Trail or like the kids say the Fun-day trail! We saw snakes and lizards and tires a bunch of little folks out greatly ...a good thing:)

The next day we headed to Gordos to do our night out on the town--haha! We also celebrated Glenn and Mary's 24 anniversary..cool that we all got married in 1988! Okay on to the pictures....
