River Day

What a beautiful day on the river with friends!  Every July, we schedule a Saturday and head out on the river for some rowing fun!

We paddle to a little island that is packed with lots of fun!  Swimming, a rope swing and a picnic lunch...it is great fun!

Change of Command

We were able to attend the Change of Command at Portsmouth Navy base with Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Dave.  While we had been to many in Darrell's Army days, this one was very different.  We were able to take a few of the kids with us.  We later had a dinner to celebrate too with family around. 

 

Summer Time

2020 was an odd year. We met up with the Winslow Family every Sunday after church at the park.  It was such great fellowship.  We played games, shared snacks and even sometimes had lunch together.

Pool Time and Baby Snuggles

Pool time in the back yard with the grands!  It was hot and it was fun!  Everyone got in on the action!

 

 

 

 

 

 

The best part??  Gigi got some baby snuggles in with Lexi while the kid were in the pool!  How cool is that??

Jason’s Birthday

                         Celebrating Jason's birthday was great fun!  The kids sang their hearts out!

We always have a talent night at Camp.  Here is Jonathon and Brandon who sang with a few folks at the piano. 

                                              The dads skit was a HOOT!  They did great!

AND then there was GAGA ball.  The night photo was the kids playing by car light till late into the evening.  Moms and Dads were cheering them on too!  Such a special memory.

And then....our family photo.  The goofiness is still there--Devon is showing us his muscle.  What a great week for all of us! 

 

The PHOTO Booth

We were at camp with some of our favorite people!  AND the camp added a photo booth!  It was a blast!  There were so many great props.  The first one to dive in was Becca.  She had walked down to our rooms and stopped.  When I was driving down, she was on the bench dressed in a costume waiting for us.  We cracked up--that girl has so much spunk.  We all jumped out ran for the other things and ended up having a total blast.  We were then joined by our friends the Winslow's which are all pictured above.  Such special memories of a super fun day!
