The Week After

I did some fun research and found discounted tickets to Sight and Sound.  Becca, Devon, Oma and I went to see Daniel.  It was phenomenal!  The emotion rolling through the actors and those of us watching was overwhelming at times- watching Becca's face as the firey furnace opened up to see Jesus in the fire, the dry bones coming to live, lions mouths sealed and the actor's tears rolling down his face as he praised God for what he had done.  It was amazing.

This sign caught all of us and stuck with us-The King is Coming!

Our drive home later in the week.  Love the fun I had with these two! God brought us safely home and it was sweet.

Thanksgiving with 29!

Thanksgiving week was a full week!  We went to Roots and Green Dragon Markets-it was fun with all of the business of the holiday.  We went to a mission store and I thought it was so cool to find the Iris blooming right outside its door.  One of my favorite spring flowers blooming in November!

There are lots of photos because well, we had a lot of help and a lot of guests!  29 to be specific!

We took the Christmas train for something fun at the Strasburg Railroad.  We heard carols, saw Santa but just enjoyed the Spirit of the Season.

Great help, lots of food and catching up all led to a wonderful week full of family!

                                                           Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Happy Birthday Ben!

Ben turned 23 during a busy week.  We were preparing to travel to PA for the holiday but made sure we hit the day running.

Ice cream sundae's were his dessert choice-an big time favorite at our house.  Loving watch this son figure out all of the things and lean into the Lord to see where he is being led.

                                                                   Happy Birthday, Ben!

Paley-Florida Trip

We were off again headed to the Paley Institute in Florida for another surgery for Jacob.  We are hoping and praying this the last one and we were told it was a fast recovery.  Jacob has been having severe hives and we think it is to the nickle in his pins in his hardware from surgery.

It was quite the fast trip where things did not go as planned.  But, we were successful with his surgery and as you can see the photo below-he had a bunch of things pulled from his feet-both of them!  Dr. Dobbs did a great job and we are so happy with the results.  We have continue to work on his gut and detoxing and the hives are just about done.  He has had very few problems since the surgery.  Before it was almost daily.  We are so thankful for everything and can't wait to see him up in the air again very soon!

Critter Happenings and More

Devon worked on ground driving one of our horses this year.  We didn't get so far as driving her from the cart.  Hoping for next year.

Becca has been working with the dogs on agility....it isn't true you can't teach an old dog a new trick because our dogs will do anything for a training treat.  They jumped over, crawled over and went through obsticles.

The resident baking lady came home to bake with Gabby.  She made her day and the young adult group got some sweet treats.

Dad and Joe measuring to see who is higher--they are suppose to be 1 inch apart but I am not so sure about that!

Jacob Turns 19!

Can't believe it but it is true!  Jacob is 19 and he celebrated with one of my favorites- Tirimusu!

                                                                    Happy Birthday Jacob!
