Joe turns 17
Joe had a great day on his birthday! This year, we seem to be hitting Saturday's and it was a low keyed day for him. He asked for lots of books this year~Happy Reading!
He has had some really big decisions lately and has met them with great maturity. It has been fun to see him grow in this area.

Quiet Christmas
We had such a beautiful and quiet Christmas. I took a few shots of our morning getting started and then must have put my phone down and simply enjoyed the day. Gifts, giggles, playing, sharing, visits by married kiddos....all sweet things!
And then had to put a few pics of Tommy's birthday coat and Gabby on one of her visits here-it's the cuteness factor for sure. Time with grandkids is never quite long enough--love them all to pieces!
Mom’s 29 again!
Happy Birthday Louisa! It is fun to take a few moments during our busy holiday season to celebrate a birthday. We kept it simple but sweet. So thankful to family who cares about the little details!
More Legos
Lego's have always been a big deal in our family but these Lego's take on a whole new level of building. Jacob took a leap and bought the Avenger Tower and a huge action figure which now sits in the boys room. It was not without adventure....when he was moving the tower, it dropped on the way to its current resting place and needed to be rebuilt. It is so cool!
