Happy Birthday Jason!

Eager anticipation of blowing ALL the candles out!

We love the blue tongue--excitement!

We love the excitement!
Jason turned 12!  He was very excited to celebrate with everyone at home.  He picked a yummy dinner of hot dogs, baked macaroni and cheese, and baked beans.  We topped it all of with cake and ice cream.  It was a delight!

Welcome Back Shiina!

Shiina Hashimto came back for a visit after spending time with our family 7 years ago on a Labo Exchange.  She was our very first exchange student and such a sweetheart!  We have loved seeing how she has grown into a beautiful young woman and getting to know her again.  We have some day trips schedule and we will see what the next week and a half brings...pictures to come!

We've grown by 6 feet!

                                                           We've grown by 6 feet!

On December 28th, we had 3 new foster children placed with us.  They are sweet and adorable and we have enjoyed getting to know them despite the trials we have been through in the past several weeks to include 2 rounds with lice and the stomache flu.  We have all pulled together to come together and it is such a huge blessing to have them in our home.

Skating- A New Adventure

The kiddos tried something new this winter when friends of ours invited us ice skating in Wolfboro.  We even had dad join us on the last skate in January.  We were all sore after our adventure but loved it and can't wait to do it again.  We traveled each week to Alton to eat at McDonalds with friends and then onto the skating rink.  After each skate time, we went to visit friends of ours in Center Barnstead to chat, play games and have some fun outside.
